Charter Hall WALE Limited as responsible entity of the Charter Hall Long WALE REIT (ASX:CLW) (the “REIT”) refers to the institutional placement (“Placement”) and the 1-for-15 accelerated non-renounceable entitlement offer (“Entitlement Offer”) as announced to ASX on Thursday, 12 December 2019.
As set out in the announcement on Friday, 13 December 2019, the REIT raised approximately $200 million under the Placement and $117 million under the institutional component of the Entitlement Offer. A total of 38,977,583 new stapled securities (“New Securities”) will be allotted to securityholders on Wednesday, 18 December 2019. These New Securities comprise 37,383,178 New Securities under the Placement and 1,594,405 New Securities under the shortfall of the institutional component of the Entitlement Offer.
A completed Appendix 2A has been lodged together with this announcement.
