Steven has over 20 years' experience in funds management, banking, property, accounting and consultancy. 

As CEO of Charter Hall's Direct property business, Steven oversees approximately $10 billion of assets on behalf of self-managed super funds, high net worth and retail investors, while managing a team of property and funds management professionals who are responsible for unlisted property funds across all our core real estate sectors. 

For Steven, it's not just about outcomes - the journey is equally as important. By speaking directly with investors and their advisers, he and his team gather insights into the real-world goals that our Direct investors aim to achieve. Whether it’s a regular income to support their lifestyle or provide a better retirement, Steven relies on expertise, integrity and professionalism to realise outstanding outcomes. 

Steven is currently serving as Vice President for the Property Council of Australia's NSW Divisional Council, and previously served as President of the Property Funds Association.

Before joining us, Steven worked for Macquarie Group Limited in both their Sydney and London offices.
