Consumer staples are essential products, such as food or household items, that people are generally unable or unwilling to cut out of their budgets. They are characterised by: a low elasticity of demand; consumption correlated with population growth; dominant brands with high levels of consumer loyalty; and stable cash flows through economic and market cycles.
The Fund invests in a diversified and growing portfolio of properties leased to retailers, distributors and producers of consumer staples goods. The Fund will target properties leased to the dominant companies in their respective industries.
