Laverton Cold Storage became our pioneer tenant customer at Drystone Industrial Estate in 2015. Initially consisting of a 6,771sqm cold storage facility, we expanded the facility to 12,784sqm in 2017.
Drystone Industrial Estate is a $300 million, 90 hectare estate that is quickly becoming the preferred home to companies who require large industrial and logistics footprints with ease of access to major arterial networks.
Companies including Target, The Reject Shop, Woolworths, Rand, Laverton Cold Storage, Couriers Please and recently Victorian Freight Specialists have all established logistics facilities within the Estate.
As part of the expansion to the facility in 2017, we worked with Laverton Cold Storage to install a 450 killowatte powered solar system which takes up 71% of the roof space. The power generated assists Laverton Cold Storage with its power bills, which are high due to the nature of their business.
