Located 1,600k north east of Perth, South Hedland Square is the only shopping centre in South Hedland and has the only Kmart and Coles within the Town of Port Hedland, positioning the centre as the main shopping destination within the main trade area.

Similarly, South Hedland Square completed a redevelopment in 2014, which integrated the centre into the Town Square, the key location for local events and community activities.
