Ray Fazzolari

Ray Fazzolari has extensive industry experience in the financial sector and commercial property industry over 41 years through various cycles and market conditions.

Ray’s career has spanned multiple relevant roles for his role as an Independent Board Director of Charter Hall Investment Management Limited including the investment, ownership, divestment and development of commercial property in all major metropolitan markets. In addition, Ray retains valuable experience in complex commercial real estate financing and has direct experience in asset management in both institutional and secondary grade asset categories.

In addition to Ray’s current role as a CPIF Independent Investment Committee member since 2006, he is currently the Director and Chair of Property Estates Pty Limited which is a boutique commercial property consultancy and funds management firm. In addition Ray is currently the Head of Balmain Asset Management and Chair of Balmain Aqua Income Fund Credit Committee one of Australia’s largest commercial real estate debt investment funds.

Ray’s experience includes 3 years with the St Hillier's Group as the General Manager of Development, 16 years with the Leda Group of Companies as the Managing Director and a further 10 years with Citibank as the General Manager of Commercial Finance. Ray’s career started in the industry in commercial property loan administration in the 1970s which then evolved to becoming a trading analyst in short term money and bill markets, prior to his move into commercial real estate finance and then commercial real estate investment management.
