Charter Hall launches in Sydney by Cedric Fuchs, David Southon and Andre Biet.
’95
First syndicate launches. CHIF1 is the first in a series focusing on high quality single and multi-asset property syndicates. 
’96
Australia’s first institutional opportunistic property fund launches with AMP Capital. First of a series of five opportunistic funds largely comprising of Australian superannuation funds.

Transfield Holdings acquires 50% of Charter Hall. David Harrison joins the company as Joint Managing Director alongside David Southon.

Charter Hall lists on the ASX with FUM of $1bn.
’06
The Core Plus Office Fund (CPOF) launches. The first in a series of long-term, open-ended core investment vehicles. At the time, this is Australia's largest blind private equity property fund raising.

The Core Plus Industrial Fund (CPIF) launches. It achieves the highest independent rating in the retail property funds industry.

Charter Hall acquires the management rights to Macquarie Group’s real estate funds management platform, increasing its funds under management to over $10bn.

Charter Hall celebrates its 20 year anniversary. Divests offshore assets, focusing on its core Australian business.

Privatises the listed Charter Hall Office REIT (ASX: CQO) to form the Group's largest wholesale partnership.

Launches the Long Wale Investment Partnership (acquiring the $603m ALH portfolio) and the Long Wale Hardware Partnership

David Harrison becomes the sole Managing Director & Group CEO. Charter Hall Long WALE REIT (ASX: CLW) lists on the ASX.

First Australian property company to join Pledge 1%, an international philanthropic movement, maximising our social and economic impact through our people, places and partnerships.

Acquires Folkstone Ltd. Growing FUM by $1.6bn and increasing investable universe into the social infrastructure and early learning sector.
’19
Record year of equity inflows across all capital sources and transactions saw FUM grow by 31%.

FUM exceeds $40bn, doubling in three years.

Charter Hall celebrates its 30 year anniversary.

Acquires ~$2bn IAP portfolio and Southern Cross office precinct. Charter Hall FUM exceeds $80bn.

Completes 555 Collins and 150 Lonsdale Street developments.
