Charter Hall ran a successful national shopping centre campaign across 36 of its centres in December 2012.  Through the “Decorate to Donate” campaign, we donated $15,000 to Variety – the charity committed to helping Australian children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs, to live, laugh and learn. As part of the Christmas campaign shoppers at the participating centres decorated the in-centre Christmas tree with heart-shaped bauble stickers distributed by retailers, with every sticker representing $1 for Variety.

Coupled with an additional Group donation of $20,000, we were able to provide a Liberty Swing to the William Stimson School, a primary school which is in close proximity to our Pemulwuy Marketplace Shopping Centre near Wetherill Park, NSW.

As the world's safest and most recognised swing for children in wheelchairs, the Liberty Swing is both therapeutic and fun.
