Charter Hall Social Infrastructure Limited (CHSIL) as responsible entity of the Charter Hall Social Infrastructure REIT (ASX:CQE) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Bevan Towning as an independent non-executive director of CHSIL.
Mr Towning has recently retired from a full-time executive role at AustralianSuper, where he was responsible for the global unlisted property portfolio.
Mr Towning has over 35 years’ experience in real estate funds management across Asia Pacific and Europe. Before joining AustralianSuper, Mr Towning was Global Head of Funds at Cromwell Property Group based in their London office. Prior to these roles, Mr Towning held various leadership and senior management positions in real funds management, development and construction, and capital placement in leading Australian real estate businesses.
CHSIL Chair Greg Paramor said he was pleased to welcome Mr Towning to the Board:
“Bevan is a deeply accomplished executive with a broad range of experiences across all aspects of the real estate sector. Bevan’s significant credentials will assist CQE in continuing to execute on its strategy to pursue high quality social infrastructure opportunities and actively manage the portfolio to maintain income security and capital growth.
