Macquarie CountryWide Trust announces full year results to 30 June 2006
Macquarie CountryWide Trust (ASX:MCW) today announced its full year result for the 12 months to 30 June 2006 had exceeded its earnings forecast. Macquarie CountryWide reported distributable earnings per unit of 16.2 cents, up 14.4 per cent on the prior year and a 12 month return on equity of 21.0 per cent. The Trust’s total distribution of 15.91 cents per unit (up 10 per cent) includes a foreign tax credit of 0.51 cents per unit and is 53.5 per cent tax dvantaged. Substantial organic income growth in all markets, realising investment profits and a continued focus on active redevelopments have contributed to this result.
