David Harrison
Managing Director and Group CEO

David has 32 years of property market experience across office, retail and industrial sectors in multiple geographies globally.  As Charter Hall Managing Director and Group CEO, David is responsible for all aspects of the Charter Hall business, with specific focus on strategy. He continues to build the momentum of a $28.4 billion investment portfolio and is recognised as a multi-core sector market leader.  David is an executive member of various Fund Boards and Partnership Investment Committees, Chair of the Executive Property Valuation Committee and Executive Leadership Group.

David has overseen the growth of the Charter Hall Group from $500 million to $28.4 billion of assets under management in 14 years.  David has been principally responsible for transactions exceeding $25 billion of commercial, retail and industrial property assets over the past 28 years.

David holds a Bachelor of Business Degree (Land Economy) from the University of Western Sydney, is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute (FAPI) and holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia.

Sean McMahon
Chief Investment Officer 

Sean has over 27 years of property and investment banking experience in the real estate sector and has been active in the listed, wholesale and direct capital markets. Sean is responsible for the Group’s strategy and balance sheet investments, mergers and acquisitions, with oversight for multi sector disciplines including property transactions, together with corporate development.

He brings a wealth of experience across investment markets, diversified across office, industrial and retail sectors, and has been responsible for driving the development of corporate strategies, capital allocation and reinvestment programs.

Prior to joining Charter Hall, Sean worked at national diversified property group Australand (now known as Frasers) as Chief Investment Officer and was previously responsible for investment and development for all commercial, industrial and retail property.

Russel Prout

Russell joined Charter Hall in August 2017 and brings over 25 years’ finance experience to the Group.  His experience has included property and infrastructure investment management in North America, Australia and broader Asia as well as extensive M&A and financing capability across global markets.

He has a breadth of knowledge across commercial property markets and broad experience across infrastructure and private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, transactions and finance functions. 

Richard Stacker
Industrial CEO

Richard joined Charter Hall in 2010 and has over 25 years of experience in real estate funds management, real estate finance, accounting and risk management. Richard has worked across the office, retail and industrial real estate sectors.  This has included leading the establishment and structuring of new funds, the management of these funds, including overseeing the transactional, development, asset and property management.   

In July 2018 Richard became CEO of Charter Hall’s $7.1 billion Industrial real estate business and is responsible for investment management, development, asset and property management services.

Richard has also lead the Charter Hall global investor relations team responsible for engaging with the investors in Charter Hall's listed and unlisted funds. In this role Richard has directly led the raising of capital globally for pooled funds, new investor partnerships and joint ventures.

As a Board member of Charter Hall’s unlisted retail investor business, Charter Hall Direct, Richard also led the growth of this business since its inception to be the leading provider of investment funds in Australia with over $4 billion in funds under management.  The leading position of this business has been recognised by the outperformance of the funds and a number of  industry awards for fund of the year.

Prior to joining Charter Hall, Richard was a Division Director of Macquarie Group and Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie Direct Property Management Limited. Previously to that, Richard was a General Manager with Lend Lease Corporation Limited and a senior manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Adrian Taylor

Adrian Taylor is Charter Hall’s Office CEO and  a member of Charter Hall’s Executive Committee, with 26 years industry experience and eight years with Charter Hall.

Adrian leads the A$13.2 billion office sector from end to end including Investment Management, Asset Management, Development and Property Management teams, and helps develop the overall strategy and objectives for the office funds in conjunction with the Charter Hall Fund Managers and our Investors and helps guide the portfolio management, capital transactions, treasury and trust management teams to execute strategy. He has extensive capital management experience including debt and equity raising. Prior to the Charter Hall Office REIT’s privatisation, he was its Chief Executive Officer and has deep capital transaction and extensive joint venture experience in Australia and the US.

Adrian graduated with a Bachelor of Business from Monash University, is a Certified Practising Accountant, is Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, a fellow Of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and is involved in numerous property industry groups including sitting on the Division Council of the Capital Markets Division of the Property Council of Australia

Greg Chubb
Retail CEO

Greg joined Charter Hall in 2014 and has 29 years of experience across Retail property funds and property management. As Charter Hall's Retail CEO, Greg leads the Charter Hall Retail REIT (ASX: CQR) as well as overseeing the group's Retail strategy across wholesale funds, property and asset management, leasing, marketing and development.

Greg, with a team of 150+ retail property specialists, are responsible for growing the Group's convenience-based retail portfolio of shopping centres, hardware, hospitality and automotive assets. A focus on building shareholder value through active asset management, a commitment to a centre-centric culture and continuing to build partnerships with the broader communities in which we operate has seen the portfolio grow from $2.9 billion on his commencement to $6.6 billion today.

Prior to joining Charter Hall, Greg was the Property Director at Coles Supermarkets Australia and Managing Director/Head of Retail for Sandalwood/Jones Lang LaSalle in Greater China. Greg has also previously held executive leadership roles at both Mirvac and Lend Lease.

Greg is an executive director on the Charter Hall Retail REIT (AXS: CQR) and holds a Bachelor of Business Degree (Land Economy) from the University of Western Sydney, is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute (FAPI), Registered Valuer and a director of the Shopping Centre Council of Australia.

Steven Bennett
Head of Direct Property and Fund Manager
BBA (Finance & Economics), CA


Steven is Head of Charter Hall Group’s Direct Property business and has worked in the Direct Property business at Charter Hall for more than eight years.

Steven is also Fund Manager of the Direct suite of funds and has day-to-day responsibility for overseeing asset management and tenancy matters, managing the financial structure of the funds including debt financing and hedging and stakeholder communications.

Prior to joining Charter Hall Group, he worked for Macquarie Group Limited for seven years at their Sydney and London offices. Steven holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.



Natalie Devlin

Natalie Devlin
Group Executive - People, Brand and Community
BA, Postgrad Dip in MR Management (Dean's List Award)

Natalie joined Charter Hall in 2010 and has over 19 years' human resources experience. She is responsible for culture, internal and external brand, organisational capability and community investment.

Recently, she has led the transformation project that introduced the Group to a new way of working across the country. This included creating the Group’s internal brand and enhancing its culture around our new values of accountability, collaboration, expertise, integrity and passion. She is focused on creating an authentic and differentiated employee and customer experience for the Group.

Prior to joining Charter Hall, Natalie was the Head of People and Development at Valad, where she established the human resources function. Prior to this she worked with the multinational Wolters Kluwer where she transformed its operating model.
