Charter Hall fund secures strategic North Shore bulky goods development opportunity

Charter Hall is pleased to announce the latest acquisition for Charter Hall Opportunity Fund No. 4 ("CHOF4"), purchasing the 99 year leasehold interest in Willoughby City Council's Depot in Artarmon.

This strategic 16,000m2 landholding situated near the Pacific Highway, Gore Hill Freeway, Lane Cove Tunnel and St Leonards Railway Station will be redeveloped by CHOF4 for the purposes of accommodating a new fully integrated bulky goods retail centre of approximately 25,000m2, with parking for over 550 cars.

This acquisition represents the fifth investment for CHOF4 taking the equity allocation to 82% of the Funds $165m of equity and paving the way for the launch of our next opportunity fund, to be known as CHOF5, early next year.
