Management Sustainability

Charter Hall Retail REIT is commited to sustainable development which is becoming increasingly important to all stakeholders - the local community, retailers, investors and the general public.

Recognising this, the Trust has identified key sustainability areas that relate to our current operations and that will be core considerations going forward:

responding to climate change by understanding our carbon footprint;
improving the energy efficiency of our assets;
responsible water management; and
recognising the need to manage waste in a responsible manner.
By reducing waste and better managing resources, we are able to deliver improved services for our existing customers, optimise our environmental performance and reduce operational costs.
