David Harrison
Joint Managing Director

David heads the Funds Management and Property Management Divisions of Charter Hall. His role entails responsibility for the strategic growth of the funds management business with particular focus on investment sourcing, capital raisings and structuring of transactions. 

David has more than 20 years of experience in the Australian commercial property markets and prior to joining Charter Hall in 2004, David was Managing Director of Savills in Australia, an international commercial real estate agency business. David has transacted approximately $10 billion of commercial, retail and industrial property assets across all capital cities of Australia over the past 10 years for both Charter Hall and Savills. David holds a Land Economics degree from the University of Western Sydney, and a graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia, whilst also being a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute.

David Southon
Joint Managing Director

David is a co-founder of Charter Hall. As Joint Managing Director, David heads the Development Division and is on the Investment Committees of the Group's series of opportunity funds and certain investment funds.

He has over 20 years of property industry experience and is responsible for overseeing project origination, project strategy, development management and resourcing of projects. He is also involved in the procurement and divestment of investment properties. Prior to co-founding Charter Hall in 1991, David was a Development Manager with the Heine Group's property arm (now part of ING) and Leighton Properties. David holds a Bachelor of Business Degree (Land Economy) from the University of Western Sydney and is a Fellow Member of the Australian Property Institute (FAPI).

Cedric Fuchs
Executive Director

Cedric is a co-founder of Charter Hall with over 40 years of experience in the fields of property investment, development and financial services.

He is a member of the Investment Committee for all of Charter Hall's wholesale and retail property funds. Prior to co-founding Charter Hall in 1991, he worked with the Heine Group's property arm (now part of ING) and Leighton Properties where he was involved in the development and investment activities of those companies. Cedric holds a degree in Business Management.

Richard Di Lernia
Group General Manager Finance

Richard is the Group General Manager Finance for Charter Hall, responsible for managing the Group's financial management including financial Control, analysis, treasury and tax functions. Richard has over 17 years experience in property and financial services and prior to joining Charter Hall held senior roles with the Macquarie Group, Hudson Conway and PricewaterhouseCoopers.  Richard is also the Chief Financial Officer of Charter Hall Retail REIT.  Richard is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) from the University of New South Wales.

Adrian Taylor
CEO Charter Hall Office REIT

Prior to joining Charter Hall Adrian was an executive director of Macquarie Capital Funds Limited. Adrian sets the overall strategy and objectives for the Trust in conjunction with the Board and guides the portfolio management, capital transactions, marketing and trust management teams to execute the Trust's strategy. Adrian has been instrumental to the growth of the Trust over the past 13 years, helping to increase Trust assets from $300 million to A$4.2 billion.

He has been extensively involved in structured debt, equity and hybrid capital raisings, and the vehicle's overall financial management. Previously, as the Trust's chief investment officer, he was responsible for acquisition and disposal assessment of $10 billion of commercial office properties per year. Adrian also has considerable joint venture experience in Australia and the US. Adrian is a certified practising accountant. He holds a BBus from Monash University is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and is involved in numerous property industry groups including the Property Council of Australia.

Steven Sewell
CEO Charter Hall Retail REIT

Steven is an executive director of Charter Hall Retail Management Limited and chief executive officer of the Trust.  Steven has been instrumental to the management of the Trust since becoming CEO in September 2006. Steven has overseen acquisitions for the trust in all markets, including investments in Poland and Germany, the US and in Australia. Steven joined the then Macquarie CountryWide Trust in January 2003 as Portfolio Manager, being promoted to Chief Operating Officer in August 2004 and also holds the position of Chairman of Charter Hall's Real Estate Management Services Group (CREMS) which provides all property level services to CQR, including property management, retail leasing, financial management and regulatory and OH&S compliance. Prior to joining Macquarie, Steven was National Head of Property Management at QIC Property Group and he has
a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Melbourne. Currently Steven is Deputy Chairman of Shopping Centre Council
of Australia.

Andrew Glass
Head of Wholesale Investment Funds Management

Andrew has over 20 years of experience in the Australian public and private real estate markets. He is responsible for managing and monitoring investment activity (both acquisition and divestments) to ensure that all funds meet their investment objectives and to assist Fund Managers in optimising portfolio construction. Prior to joining Charter Hall in 2009, he was head of Australian investment for GIC Real Estate, Singapore for seven years. Andrew has sourced and closed approximately A$4.6 billion of direct and indirect real estate transactions throughout Australia and Asia over the last five years. He has also worked for Macquarie Bank and Salomon Brothers in real estate financing roles. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of New South Wales.

Richard Stacker
CEO Charter Hall Direct Property

Richard Stacker is the Head of Charter Hall's unlisted retail funds. Richard has over 21 years experience in accounting, risk management, real estate finance and real estate funds management. Prior to joining Charter Hall, Richard was a Division Director of Macquarie Group and Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie Direct Property Management Limited. Previous to that, Richard was a General Manager with Lend Lease Corporation Limited and a senior manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Michael Winnem
Head of Wholesale Opportunistic Funds Management

Michael's main responsibility is the successful allocation of equity, implementation and profit performance of Charter Hall's property development projects and the overall performance of the Opportunity Fund Series. As a Fund Manager, Michael is responsible for the strategic direction of Charter Hall's Opportunity Funds, reports to investors and providing guidance to Charter Hall's development teams. Michael has over 20 years of property development experience in industrial, commercial, residential and retail projects. Prior to joining Charter Hall in 1994, Michael was a Development Manager with Leighton Properties. Michael holds a Business Degree (Land Economy) from the University of Western Sydney, is a licensed valuer, real estate agent and a member of the Australian Institute of Valuers.

Nick Kelly
Head of Investor Relations

Nick joined Charter Hall in 2006. Prior to this, he worked at Mercer Investment Consulting leading the firm's property research advisory service, where he held the position of Principal and Head of Property Research. At Mercer, Nick was responsible for reviewing and rating the entire property fund industry including core, value added and opportunistic unlisted funds, in addition to full coverage of active Australian and global property securities managers. Prior to Mercer, Nick worked at a Melbourne based commercial/industrial real estate firm. Nick holds a Business Degree (Land Economy), Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and a Masters Degree in Finance.

Paul Sorensen
Head of U.S. Portfolio Management

Paul Sorensen is Head of U.S. Portfolio Management in the United States. Charter Hall's U.S operations provide a full range of portfolio management services including: portfolio strategy, acquisitions, asset management, dispositions, and fund management. The U.S. team oversees the U.S. assets of Charter Hall Office REIT. During 2007-2009, Mr. Sorensen led his team to complete over US$4 billion in acquisitions and dispositions, and over 2.5 million square feet of leasing transactions. Paul was the head of Portfolio Strategy for Equity Office Properties Trust (EOP), which was acquired by Blackstone Group for US$39 billion in early 2007.

Prior to joining EOP, Mr. Sorensen was an international managing director at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), a global real estate services company with about 30,000 employees in 50 countries. He joined the company in 1986 and was instrumental in founding the company's portfolio management business, where he managed the firm's three largest commingled real estate funds for large institutional investors. He founded the firm's Research and Valuations groups, and then in the mid 1990's, he represented the company in evaluating and acquiring numerous real estate service businesses in Europe and the Americas - which more than doubled the size of the firm. After winning the JLL Leadership Award in 2001, Mr. Sorensen joined the Capital Markets group as COO, where he was responsible for financial results, management, and strategy development for a business unit that completed over US$3 billion in annual real estate investment sales and financings for JLL's institutional and corporate clients. Paul holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Accounting and English Literature from Northern Illinois University.

Natalie Devlin
Head of People

In her role as Head of People, Natalie is responsible for building the Group's Human Resources function focussing on people strategy, capability, culture and organisational design.

Natalie has over 15 years human resources experience and prior to joining Charter Hall was the Head of People and Development at Valad, where she established the human resources function. Natalie's role involved strategy development, organisation design, process re-engineering, risk management and cultural change.

Prior to this she worked with Wolters Kluwer, a multinational business information company of over 600 employees, in a role that included significant change management, integration of acquisition businesses and the establishment of a Shared Services Centre in Malaysia.

Natalie has a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Psychology plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management for which she received a Dean's List Award.
